Taste of the Wasatch

taste of the wasatch

For the past twelve years, the annual Taste of the Nation culinary festival has raised funds to help support efforts to end hunger. In 2012, the good work and good food continued, but with a new name: TASTE OF THE WASATCH. The culinary event – annually presented by Solitude Mountain Resort – features food tastings presented by chefs from over 50 top Utah restaurants and resorts, alongside boutique wineries and craft breweries pouring tastes. It also includes live music, and both a live and silent auction.  Utahns Against Hunger is a beneficiary of Taste of the Wasatch. Taste of the Wasatch really understands the role that advocacy plays in finding solutions to the issue of hunger. In 2016, Taste of the Wasatch will be held on August 7th from 12noon to 4pm.  Learn more and buy tickets HERE.

Help Spread the Word about Child Nutrition Programs

One obstacle in the way of kids getting food they need through the Summer Food, School Breakfast and School Lunch Programs – is not knowing about it.  Help to get the word out by telling people you know about these program or helping us circulate flyers – like the ones at the bottom of this page– for the Summer Food program.
