Miguel became the newest member of Utahns Against Hunger (UAH) in October of 2020. As Food Access and Research Coordinator he is heading up an emergency food pantry survey in collaboration with UAH partner Utah Food Bank. Miguel holds a B.A. in English from the University of Utah. Before joining UAH he spent almost three years assisting Salt Lake Community College’s School of Applied Technology in rebuilding the curriculum for their College of Academic Readiness Course. In 2015 he served on former Mayor Biskupski’s communication team. And for over ten years he’s served the Latinx community on the Westside of Salt Lake Valley through community initiatives and public advocacy.
